Light, truth and knowledge are important to me.
I am a Mormon or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS).
We are Christians.
At one time in my life I had know no plan or direction. I literally was like a ship without a rudder just bopping around and in the sea.
Then, one day, while living on Okinawa, Japan, someone opened their mouth and asked me if I wanted to learn more about their church. Asked me if I wanted to attend church with his family.
As-soon-as I worshipped with the Latter-day Saints, I knew it was right and true.
I also knew I belonged there.
It was like finding a long-lost friend or not having seen that friend for years; yet, when you reconnect, it is like you were never apart.
Having the Gospel in my life is my compass. It guides me to make correct and better choices. It also helps me to think, do and say what the Savior might. In addition to working to have pure, clean and right motives (i.e., doing the right thing for right reasons).
I am by far from perfect; yet, I strive to be better every day.

Becoming a member of this church is, bar none, the best decision I have ever made (i.e., besides marrying my husband, of course). 😉
Maybe it can be for you, too.
Just know, that no matter what your faith, as Elder Jeffrey R. Holland states so beautifully, to:
